Los Nuestros También Brillaron en los MTV VMA’s 2022

Por fin regresaron en persona, los MTV Video Music Awards, que se llevaron a cabo este domingo 28 de agosto, con la presencia de algunas de las celebridades más importantes de la música global, y con latinos representando a la raza, como: Bad Bunny, Anita y J Balvin, Becky G, Camilo y Evaluna. 

La premiación transmitida desde el Prudential Center de Nueva Jersey, fue conducida por LL Cool J, Harlo y Nicki Minaj, siendo esta última galardonada con el premio honorario Video Vanguard Award.

“Jamás en la vida había escrito un discurso y ahora lo hice en mi teléfono, dijo Nicki Minaj, Me hubiese gustado que Whitney Houston y Michael Jackson estuvieran aquí, espero que la gente se tome en serio la salud mental, porque no saben lo importante que es en la vida”, señaló la rapera de 40 años.

Además de actuar en vivo, los chicos no tan chicos de Red Hot Chili Peppers, se llevaron a casa el premio honorífico de Icono Global.  

Bad Bunny, quien actuó desde el Yankee Stadium, se alzó con el premio de Artista del año, recibiendo la mayor cantidad de votos por parte del público… “Muchas gracias Nueva York, orgullo latino. De corazón no tengo palabras ante el orgullo que siento al recibir este premio. Siempre creí desde el principio que yo podía ser el artista más grande del mundo, sin cambiar mi estilo, y mi idioma”, dijo el puertorriqueño.

Entre los nuestros, también brillaron en el escenario, J Balvin junto a Ryan Castro, y Anitta, quien se coronó como la Mejor Latina.
